Docs Documents
Documents
A central library for files — policies, templates, contracts, images — organized in folders with version history.
How it works
- Upload files into folders; each file supports versions (upload a new version without losing history).
- The built-in file previewer opens images, PDFs, and text inline — the same previewer used across the app (e.g. on task proof and form attachments).
- Files are served through a storage layer that supports a local store today and S3-style buckets (configured per tenant by platform admins).
SharePoint / OneDrive
If your workspace connects the SharePoint / OneDrive integration (Admin → Integrations), a Browse SharePoint button appears here. You can search and navigate your Microsoft 365 library and link files straight into Documents — the link points back to the file in M365, so there's no duplicate copy to keep in sync.
How to configure
- Create folders to match how your team thinks about content.
- Upload files; add new versions as documents evolve.
- Use archive rather than delete to keep history; hard delete is restricted.
