File Cabinets — self-hosting

File Cabinets on Enterprise installs uses the same integration patterns as the rest of PilotBPM. See also docs/FILE-CABINETS-SELF-HOST.md in the repository.

Required

• PostgreSQL — DATABASE_URL
• Object storage — Admin → Integrations → Storage (S3, S3-compatible, or local storage/)

Enterprise settings

Tenant JSON presets are stored in FileCabinetConfig: role templates, retention templates, legal hold notes, sharing approval placeholder, and security alert thresholds.

Compliance CSV exports and retention/destruction workflows live under File Cabinets → Settings.
